Replacement of 2 Combustion Exhaust Systems.
We were contracted by Maersk Oil & Gas North Sea to design, manufacture and install two exhaust stacks to suit their GE LM2500 units on the Tyra West Platform E in the Danish Sector of the North Sea.
Our design incorporated internally lined sections. This allowed for thermal growth to occur while maintaining a relatively cool outer case touch temperature (60oC). Aside from the personnel protection, this had the added benefit of improving structural integrity since the supports were not exposed to high temperatures.
