Cullum Apprentice selected for the British Cycling Team

In an historic first for the sport in this country, British Cycling has announced the team of riders who will represent the Great Britain Cycling Team in the BMX Freestyle Park event at the 2018 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships which take place in Chengdu, China, from 7th-11th November.

Cullum are very pleased to announce that one of our Craft Apprentices, Izzy Burrell has been selected for the team at the age of just 17.

Richard King, BMX Freestyle Park co-ordinator for the Great Britain Cycling Team said: “We have selected a strong squad to represent us out in Chengdu, with each rider currently in great form and confident with their tricks.”

The World Championships in Chengdu, along with the World Cup being held the weekend before, marks the beginning of the Olympic qualifying period so we are wishing Izzy every success in the events and her journey to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020
