Contact Careers – Quality Engineer:


  • To maintain the company’s Integrated Management System & and its third-party accreditations.
  • To provide assistance and co-ordination between suppliers, internal and external customers and other interested parties in support of Cullum business activities.
  • To ensure working practices comply with appropriate policies, standards and legislation.
  • Ensure that all (Departmental) team members provide the necessary services and support to the Project Teams.


  • Process improvement of the Business Management System.
  • Internal, external and site audits of the Business Management System.
  • Assessments of potential and existing vendors.
  • Assist with extrinsic audits / visits from customers and 3rd party registration bodies.
  • Maintenance of the Company Calibration system.
  • Monitoring of the company’s water & energy consumption.
  • Review of supplier documentation in support of purchased product/service.
  • Processing and compilation of customer submission packages in support of projects, including certification for release.
  • To support other departments as required and as defined in the Business Management System.
  • To maintain the Company standards, register.
  • To maintain Quality & Environmental Records.
  • To carry out inspection of equipment at suppliers works both in the UK & overseas as required.
  • To produce inspection reports and associated documentation including release notes.


  • To ensure the Quality & SHE Manager is made aware of any potential or existing
  • problems with customers or suppliers that would impact upon the CDL Business
  • Management System.
  • Continually investigate and implement areas of improvement to make the
  • processes within the QA & SHE Department more efficient and robust.
  • Work under own initiative with the ability to plan workloads around the
  • requirements of the department and CDL.
  • To provide reports to the Quality & SHE Manager as required by the Business
  • Management System.


  • Promote and represent the Company when required, setting a good personal example at all times.
  • Take all possible and reasonable steps to create a harmonious working environment using effective communication and team working techniques.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health, Safety, Welfare, Environmental & Quality policies and procedures and the Employee Handbook.
  • Undertake duties as may be required within capabilities consistent with the Terms and Conditions of employment and responsibilities in accordance with UK and EC Laws.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, Cullum current policies and procedures including but not limited to ISO9001, ISO14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and Staff Handbook.
  • Undertake tasks and responsibilities assigned by line manager.


  • Computer literate with good general knowledge and use of systems


  • ONC in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Previous knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001
  • Relevant quality / environment qualification.


  • Previous and relevant work experience in the principal role.
  • General engineering background.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards



  • Sound understanding of the equipment types within the Cullum product range.
